What Our Customers Say
"Highly recommend! Absolutely beautiful lights and appreciate that they light up with more intensity as motion is detected. The company’s owner has been fantastically responsive and helpful. Neighbors are asking where I got these lights! Very happy with my purchase!"
Elizabeth
"Best outdoor solar lights I’ve ever bought. Can’t even compare to big box options. I’ve had the pathway lights for over a year now and they look great and continue to hold charge as they did from day one. Really impressed. I also have the under cabinet lighting that works very well with my HomeKit focused setup."
Jim
"Love the worry free quality and design of these lights. They are small enough to all but disappear during the day, and at dusk do an amazing job til dawn, while making my home safe and look great. All the (parts) you need to install with ease on concrete or just stick it in the ground."
Bobby
"VerLuce solar lights are hands down the most well-designed and functional solar lights I have ever used or seen."

Solar Pathway Lights FAQ
The brightness would depend on the size of the area and your lighting needs. For example, if you want soft illumination in a small area, the lights should be around 30-40 lumens. To light a walkway or steps, use 150+ lumens. For a security perimeter, walkway, driveway, or large landscaped space, you would want 300-500 lumens.
Most solar pathway lights, including those with motion sensors, would have a range of high-to-low brightness. For more flexibility, you could also look for lights with 2-3 different modes of intensity.
CRI (Color Rendering Index) measures how accurately light reveals true colors on a scale of 0–100. VerLuce uses 95+ CRI LEDs for exceptional clarity and natural, vibrant illumination. Many competitors don’t publish CRI ratings, often using lower-cost LEDs with lower color-rendering performance.
Premium solar pathway lights can last up to 5 years or more, depending on environmental factors. Less expensive lights will be lacking in material quality, which will affect how long they last. Outdoor landscaping lights with an IP44 rating are rain and dust resistant, and this would help to extend durability. However, keep in mind that extreme cold, snow, and extreme heat can all affect the battery life.
Solar lights can recharge on cloudy days, but for optimal performance, a solid 8 hours of sunlight is best. The solar panel reacts to particles of light. It converts sunlight into electricity and stores it in the battery. When it's cloudy or overcast, the particles will still reach your panel, but the charge won't be as strong. This is fine if the battery has enough stored energy from previous sunny days. If not, you'll be looking at reduced efficiency.
Some modern solar lights have back-up USB charging to get you through those overcast days. Look for solar lights that have a USB port or power connector.
2200K is an extra warm white that mimics the soft glow of incandescent and candlelight. Easy on the eyes at night, it helps reduce light pollution while creating a gentle, wildlife-friendly atmosphere.
If you're looking for a relaxing light, 2700K is best. For instance, use 2700K to create ambiance around your patio or deck area. It has a soft, warm white glow with amber undertones. For small, intimate areas, 2700K will contribute to a peaceful, cozy vibe.
For safety or security lighting purposes, 3000K would be recommended. This is a warm white and adds more clarity and contrast. Use 3000K for walkways, steps, and areas where you want a clear, more detailed view. Additionally, if you're considering adding solar lights to your garden, 3000K might make your plants look greener and more vibrant.
By the way, the K in 2200K, 2700K, and 3000K represents the Kelvin scale, which is a way of measuring the color temperature (cool, warm, etc.). Because of the way our eyes adjust to low light (night vision), different color temperatures can affect our perception.
Solar Path lights with motion sensors clearly have benefits. Besides the obvious security and safety reasons, they'll brighten your path when you park your car in the driveway and need to carry groceries to the front door in the rain.
Look for sensors with at least a 20-foot range. With no motion, they should be 40-50 lumens. When motion is detected, you'd want 300-500 lumens. As with all solar path lights, the sensing function will depend on a strong battery charge.
Each light has a built-in solar panel connected to a lithium-ion battery. On a full charge, the light can run for up to 35-55 hours with no charge from the sun. This is helpful during the winter months or if you have shady areas.
For shady areas and added reliability. USB-C backup charging lets you place solar lights where sunlight is limited, while 35–55 hours of runtime can provide up to a week of lighting between charges.
Premium solar pathway lights are definitely worth the investment and will add beautiful illumination to your outdoor space. Premium lights are made with higher-quality materials, waterproofing, a more powerful battery, and multiple brightness modes. Using different styles and placement of solar landscape lights, you can create a magical outdoor space that will bring you constant enjoyment and enhance the curb appeal of your home.
